It may be necessary to carry out related processes, prior to the citizenship application, namely proceedings concerning the applicant (e.g. review of foreign court decisions of paternity investigation) and concerning the Portuguese father or mother (e.g. transcription of marriage, death and divorces celebrated abroad). These are independent processes and will be quoted separately.
